The Healing That Happens When We Follow Our Gut: A Candid Conversation with Two Mamas Across the World | 146

I recently shared a testimonial on my Instagram stories. Like so many others, it was profound - but this one seemed to hit really deeply. So many of you saw yourselves or your child in her words. I want to share this testimonial here because today, she is joining us, along with another mama who reached out after reading it.

Gayathri is a mama who lives in Germany. After searching for answers for her son’s severe allergies and skin issues, she found ōNLē through instagram and decided to try rebalancing his gut - and everything changed. She sent me this message, and when I when I read it you will understand why it resonated so powerfully. She wrote:

"Hi Juniper, I hope you are doing great. Wishing you a prosperous 2025! One of the best things that happened in 2024 was getting to know you and your amazing products. Deep from my heart, I want to thank you.

My son has struggled with allergies (dairy, eggs, and nuts) for the last two and a half years. It’s been a challenging journey, constantly having to navigate his food choices and his skin reactions. But then I found ōNLē ORGANICS, and as you suggested, we did gut rebalancing twice. Now, he has healed from his allergies to dairy and baked eggs!

We are beyond grateful for this massive improvement, and his skin—oh my goodness—it has dramatically changed. It looks translucent now. Thank you so much! I also did the rebalancing myself twice, once in early June and again when I became pregnant with my second baby last year.

Now that I’m five months pregnant, and I am so happy to know I can pass balance onto her and we won’t experience these issues again. As you recommended, I will be rebalancing again around 35 weeks. Thank you for what you have given my family!”

After I shared this, another mama, Karen, reached out to me. She saw her own story reflected in Gayathri’s words and wanted to know - could healing really be possible for her baby too? And I realized… this is a conversation so many of you need to hear.

So today, I’ve invited both of these incredible mamas to join me. Gayathri, who has already walked this path, and Karen, who is still in the thick of it. This is an open, vulnerable conversation about the struggles, the doubts, the breakthroughs, and the healing that happens when we follow our gut.

Let’s dive in.

Juniper (00:00)

Welcome to Follow Your Gut, Gayathri and Karen. I am so honored to have you here and to be able to have this really open, vulnerable conversation because Gayathri, your voice in so many ways is a lot stronger than my own. You know, being the owner of a supplement company, my voice does a lot, but yours speaks even louder because you are...

You have no affiliation with this business. You are just here to share the healing that you've experienced. And Karen, you reached out to me. had posted a message I'd shared that Guy Three had sent me. I put it in my Instagram stories and you commented back, like, can I talk to her? My child's going through something very similar. How can we do this? And I thought, gosh

I get that message hundreds of times a week. Let's have a conversation openly together and let other mamas listen to this and experience the same healing. So this will be an interesting conversation I just shared with the two of you before I hit record that I have never done a three-person interview before. So I'm sure we'll just talk over each other and it's just gonna be great

We are sitting down for tea together. So, Guy 3, will you introduce yourself? Just share a little bit about your experience and then, Karen, you can do the same and we'll just get into this.

Karen (01:35)

Sure

Gayathri Prakash (01:36)

Thank you. Thank you so much, Juniper. I think it's a great idea to have this conversation because, yeah, so six months or eight months ago, I was in a different situation completely. So I would say I'm really much better now, you know, positive. So, yeah, just a background about me. I live in Germany. So I have a three-year-old son and I'm also expecting another baby to join the family soon, in a few months. yeah, so basically that's me. Like we live in Germany and my son right from his birth, had some issues with respect to his skin and you know, the weather conditions here were challenging for him to cope up in the initial days. So at some point around six months, he was diagnosed with eczema.

So we got to know that he has eczema and he also had a lot of skin rashes. So it was very new for us. And we also identified around eight months that he also has some food allergies. So he was allergic to dairy products and nuts. So we identified that because we gave him eggs for the first time and then suddenly everything popped up on his face and all over the body that or something was not right. So we had to take him to the hospital and you know, that's when we get to know, okay, eczema, food allergies and whatnot. So since then, it's been like a roller coaster ride for us. So we have been dealing with many challenges associated with food and you know, the eczema and also the skin and weather changes. So it was a mix of many things over the last two years until I got to know about onle organics.

I got to know through Instagram. there was someone who posted and then something popped up and I was like, because I always had a question, you know, about what is the reason because none of us have any allergy in the family, neither me, my husband or any of the family members. So for us is completely new. And in fact, allergic to dairy products is a surprising thing for us because we come from a culture where we consume dairy products on a regular basis every day.

This was a bit of shock for us. So I couldn't digest the fact that this has happened and I really wanted to find a solution or root cause for this particular problem. So I don't know why it happened, but I wanted to find a solution. the only organics when I got to know about it and was reading all your blogs and also got to know a little bit more from the testimonials. So I really felt, I would say gut feeling that there is something wrong with the gut both for me and for my child probably because in my first pregnancy I know I myself had some problems when I consume dairy and when I consume some gluten products. So I get bloating and you know some sort of discomfort. So I felt okay maybe there is something that's connected and you were saying that in one of your posts that if the allergies are not family oriented or it's not coming from family it is not really allergy. It is some sort of you know imbalance and I think that's when I really wanted to give it a try. And I started like blindly that with the hope that this is going to be the only solution. And I started the gut rebalance thing for me and my son back in June last year. We did it for three months and I saw tremendous improvement in myself, a lot of improvement. And then for my son, I couldn't test because I was not confident.

So I reached out to you saying, okay, what could be the next thing? Because I finished the first round and you suggested, okay, let's go for the second round and then you would be more, you know, confident to try out things and see yourself how things would evolve. So I did another round of rebalance for him. So literally six, two rounds of rebalance. And I'm really surprised because after six months or four, four, five months, he started, I mean, he started snatching cakes from his friends and eating the regular cakes with baked eggs and also cream and he was having yogurt and he was, and he didn't react at all. So that was like amazing for us. And I was, and he was sleeping throughout the night and he never had this itchy things, no in between legs or hands and his skin was like getting far better. And we stopped using any creams and it was just going with your you know, the kit and also we had the bacteria, the RoCyp serum that you also proposed to us that we used regularly. So for us, it was like those six months, we didn't do anything much other than just relying on your package. And it turned out to be the best thing for us that now after six months, he outgrew all the allergies. I couldn't try the nuts yet, but at least the dairy and eggs and you know, so now he's like regular guy who can go to bakery and take anything he wants. And I'm not scared of, you know, that something will come up and he's so happy smiling and you know, life has changed completely for me. I was, I also got a thought, okay, why not plan for the second baby now that I myself feel better. And it happened so quickly in my case that I just gave an attempt and I was pregnant and I mean, I don't know.

Karen (07:04)

Okay.

Gayathri Prakash (07:19)

So many things that happened in my life over the last six months, which I'm very grateful for. And I am so happy to share this experience with you and also with Karen and with others that this will motivate them to stay positive. And I'm sure the solution is there right in front of us.

Juniper (07:40)

get to hear this story every day from mamas messaging me. But it's not often that I get to hear your story in person like this. And every single time, and especially now, I don't know if you can tell, but my eyes are teary and I'm covered in chills because it takes me straight back to my son when he was really unwell and all that.

Karen (07:48)

Thank you.

Juniper (08:08)

experience of him healing and being able to consume foods that we were absolutely terrified of is like you can't I can't quite put that into words the relief that that gives you as a mom and to be able to share you know to have gone through such a hard experience with my son and to not be able to share the healing is It's really surreal. And so thank you for reaching out to me on Instagram and for trusting in me and for taking the leap because you healing your son now, you know, if you can picture the gut and balance that he had continuing to get worse and worse and worse over his life, that's when we find ourselves as adults with.. autoimmune conditions and irreversible diseases. And so the opportunities that you've given your child by healing him now is something we can't even quite understand.

Okay, Karen.

Karen (09:17)

First of all I want to say thank you for setting this up because I'm sure I'm not the only person out there that is like you know reading all your testimonials and seeing all the pictures and saying like my god that's me that's my story and wondering if this is going to help for my son. First I want to say that your story is like so awesome.

I'm so happy that your son was able to heal from all of his symptoms and a happy normal baby because I always find myself at like 4 or 5 in the morning in middle of the night with an upset baby wondering what our future is going to be and if he's going to struggle forever, pretty much. As a first time mom and as a mom in general, it's hard to see your baby struggle and basically try everything or feel like you're trying everything and nothing is working. So my son now is six months old. I had him and everything was fine. Everything was perfect until around three months when he started to have a rash on his cheeks. It started there and I have a family history of eczema on my side and also my husband's side, but also food allergies. It somehow skipped my husband and I because we don't have eczema or food allergies, but I do have asthma, which is part of the triad. And so I was not surprised. I would say that he developed eczema because we do have a history of it in our family. But with that being said, we went to the doctor and of course they prescribed him steroids. And the thing with steroids is they work until they don't work and they work until you stop pretty much. And when you stop using them, they come back or the eczema comes back. But I knew that his eczema was not just regular eczema because he was breaking out in rashes all over his body sporadically. I was exclusively breastfeeding and that's when our doctor was like, maybe let's try to eliminate dairy from your diet. I eliminated dairy, but it didn't really do very much. He was still having flares probably, I would say every day. He wasn't sleeping. He was breaking out in rashes every day. He had mucousy poop. He was so irritable. Like it was like my happy baby was gone. don't, I like right before my eyes like instantly, like overnight pretty much. And I remember that when I was pregnant with him, I also had GI issues and I remember talking to my OB guy and I said, hey, like I feel like my, my, my gut flora is all out of whack. think I just, something happened.

We came back from Mexico and all of a sudden I was having gut issues. I normally have lactose intolerance anyways, so that's where I can relate with you, Gayarthi. And so when I said that to her, she kind of just like laughed at me and she's like, I don't think you threw off your microbiome, your gut flora. think it's fine. It's just a symptom of pregnancy. So I was like, okay, maybe it is a symptom of pregnancy. I don't know, I've never been pregnant before.

I just took it for what it was and now looking back I'm thinking like I'm learning for the first time that you can pass on a gut imbalance to your baby during pregnancy and it is all clicking and making a lot of sense to me that that could happen and that is probably what happened in my scenario. He's now 6 almost 7 months old and I switched from exclusively breastfeeding at five months because he wasn't getting any better. We have him on a special formula, the Similac Alimentum, which is a partially hydrolyzed formula, and he's doing a lot better. His skin is a lot better and his poops are much better, I would say like probably close to normal now, but he's still having flare-ups.

And his eczema, his rashes are still keeping him from sleeping. And I think that's the biggest thing is that he's waking up so many times at night, sometimes every hour because he cannot stop scratching. And I think that that's what I read in your testimonial, Gayarthi, is that you said something about your child always going for his face or itching or something like that and that now he isn't anymore.

And I think that's why I was like, I think what I resonated with because that's what I want for my son. And it's hard to see him go through this, know, constantly swiping at his face. Like, it's just pretty much all day and all night too. like, if you see me looking over to the left, it's because I have my baby camera on because he wakes up from his nap, from napping from scratching, from the itching as well. He's six months and he's not supposed to be swaddled anymore, but we have him swaddled with one arm down and a mitt on the other arm because if he had his arms free, he would just not sleep because he's so itchy. So I am just basically open to anything and everything at this point because everything that I've tried has either not helped or somewhat helped, but I haven't gotten to a point where he's comfortable and he can be a normal baby. So that's a little bit, I mean a lot a bit of my story, I guess.

Juniper (15:49)

thank you for sharing so openly and so vulnerably. And there's so many parts of your story that I think are really parallel to mine and just about every moment that I talk to you. And around three months, that is a really, really common time for symptoms to arise. And you're exactly right. your intuition when you are pregnant was spot on and this is really unfortunate that there is such a gap in maternal care that there is not, we are not educated on the significance of our gut health during pregnancy because this can all be avoidable and even if there are people in your family lineage that have allergies and eczema, it's really important to first acknowledge you for being here and not just settling, like saying, well, this is just what it's gonna be for him because it doesn't have to be that way. And it doesn't matter how far back symptoms go in our families, we can heal and change what's possible for future generations because...

Eczema is a symptom of something deeper going on. Allergies are so often a symptom of our immune system being compromised and overreactive and knowing that it's possible to heal and reaching out the way that you have and now sharing is so beautiful. So I want to give Gayathri a moment to respond to you and share her encouragement.

Gayathri Prakash (17:37)

So he did that like when he was five months old, when he initially had the rashes, he doesn't sleep throughout. you know, one of the main problem with his sleep is that he gets disturbed really often with his rashes. So we have this kind of creams, the heavy creams that you get from the pharmacy where It's like every now and then we keep applying because his skin gets dry and the eczema pops out and we were like, you know, applying, applying. But I think the thing is also that I was breastfeeding around that time. And in fact, I breastfed for almost one and a half years for him, because this is one of the things I did read about eczema. know, one of the things that the best thing that a child can have is, you know, the breast milk being breastfed for longer is one of the good thing that a mom can do to raise the immunity and also breastfeeding is more soothing for them. It's not just about the milk, but it's about our closeness that when they are really not comfortable, kind of, and they have this itching and stuff, but just because they are on us that they can feel better. You know, so I did that, you know, for almost two and a half years, assuming that, okay, maybe he's more comfortable, lying on me and being with me and, know, just just letting him know that okay, it's fine, you're fine. This kind of comfortness that he always felt quite good. so there were cases where, you know, certain times where he couldn't sleep on bed alone. So he I had to hold him throughout the night. And these things about itching. I used to do like I used to have a cream just right next to me and you know, keep applying applying so that he feels better. And he's lying on me. So The issue also I found that, you know, my pediatrician was also recommending that we avoid any sort of dairy products and nuts even in our diet because they think that it could also be a case that since we are breastfeeding, you know, all these things could be, know, the allergens could somehow impact the child. So I did stop it for almost a month or two. But the thing is, I didn't see any improvement with that thing about me stopping everything from my diet and you know trying that the breast milk will be pure for him but it really didn't help him at all and we didn't see any difference on that. In fact it ruined my health significantly because a lot of I'm a vegetarian I had to rule a lot of the nutrients out of my diet and it it had a lot of issues on my health. So the thing I started with the gut health you know the gut rebalance kit six months ago

The first thing I noticed after a couple of days is him not being too stressful because he was always stressed and you know, really someone who kind of had different ways of responding to certain situations until he was two and a half years old. But then when the thing about the gut rebalance started, the first thing I kind of identified in him is the inner changes.

And I could see that outside, you know, because he was more confident. He was trying to express himself more and, you know, being more, yeah, us if he has any discomfort. And then the second thing I did notice that is skin. So initially the rashes were all over the body and then, you know, mostly on the wrist and legs. But then after a month or two, all the thing got faded away.

So maybe his legs were not completely fine, I mean, between the legs, but most of the parts of the body, I saw a tremendous improvement on his skin. And, and I said, like, okay, you know, something is happening. But then in parallel, I also noticed that he was sleeping throughout the night. was those, it was exactly at that time, he started sleeping throughout the night. And I also stopped breastfeeding. He also, it was all well connected, you know.

I kind of weaned off and he accepted within a matter of few days. Until then it was very difficult for me to wean off. And then he accepted. He slept. And these all happened in a couple of months since I started this. And the most important thing is I saw his appetite improved a lot. He used to be a very picky person and you know, he used to have really less quantity. The moment I started this process, I also saw that he really wanted to have full plate of different varieties of vegetables, for instance, and you know, he liked the food. He started tasting food. He started trying varieties. So I saw that, okay, there is not just about inner changes, kin or, you know, this mood and everything, but it's also about his choices. So I see that he's able to make his choice and he wants to expand his choice. And he was completely clear on what he wants as for a age of 2 and a that was amazing for me. Like I see a different personality now completely and I never thought about it before. I always thought, okay skin, is some problem with the skin, maybe it's food. I was always picking up the food which is vegan and all these things, know, avoiding certain foods. But the thing is, I really didn't think about, okay, there's something happening inside his body, his gut. So when we start cleaning that and I was doing it in parallel,

We got connected so much like me and my son. we saw like both of us doing this in parallel. It's just wonderful because I can have all the foods and I changed my lifestyle completely. I was losing weight. I was struggling to lose weight in the last five years, even though I was doing a lot of sports and you know, tried all the multiple diet, nothing worked. But this time everything was perfect for us. He was doing his own healing. Well, I was doing on my side, but we both were like a team and Even my husband, was kind of identifying a lot of changes in both of us. was like, okay, the house is peaceful now. So I think it's just a matter of, it depends on the child. think, as you said, as you rightly pointed out, it all depends on every single child, the way how long it takes, but it is going to be fruitful. And for me, took, I think, and even in the first round of rebalance, I already found a lot of changes.

His body, his mood, his skin was perfect. And also he started mingling with people, you know, trying to converse a lot as he started talking a lot and expressing stories. And so this was like a big growth for us to notice. And for me, I have lost the highest, you know, the weight that I could imagine of in those three months. And I changed my mindset completely and my stress levels were too lowered.

And yeah, so the moment he started sleeping throughout the night, so all these things happened and he's now like since then till now, he doesn't wake up itching his skin. He doesn't wake up, you know, being stressed or, you know, thinking about something and he doesn't get upset. Most importantly, that his body is reacting in a different way because he knows that his body is okay. Maybe at times that he gets something on his skin, but it's fine that he's not stressed and he knows that this can be cured. So that kind of confidence, I'm sure that Karen, you would go through and you would also, sure that, I'm not sure that, okay, I cannot say that, okay, take this kit and you do it, you will see it immediately in three months or so. That's not my thing, but I would definitely say from my experience, this is the best thing that happened. And I regret that I didn't know this before. Had I known this before.

Karen (25:33)

Thanks

Gayathri Prakash (25:44)

Juniper, also went through a similar story, right? After two and a half years, you identified this. I wish I had known this during my first pregnancy. I wish I had known this when I was like, before getting pregnant. I wish I had cleansed my gut. I wish he didn't get this at all. I wish all these things happened earlier, that those two and a half years of suffering could have been stopped. But now I'm really glad this happened because I'm very happy that my son is healed and he's completely fine.

And I'm happy for my child inside because I know she's in a healthy environment. I know my gut is clean. So I know that she's not going to get anything of that sort and I'm not going to face this again. And even if I get to get to, I know the solution, what I need to do. So this sort of confidence is something that I gained in the last six months. And I'm so grateful. And I hope that this is something that can reach out to many women out there to know about this, the right age and with the hormonal changes and stuff.

We reassess our health and start balancing both inner and outside world.

Juniper (26:51)

Thank you so much for sharing that and something that you said that I think, I mean, I share this with moms all the time that actually, you know, when you're in the thick of eczema and you're up all night, I mean, my son, he literally breastfed at least every single hour for two and a half years because he was so uncomfortable. We didn't sleep and

So when you're in the thick of that, it's really hard to see it. But really now that I have made it to the other side and in supporting so many other mamas and going through this, a symptom like eczema is really such a blessing because it's this visual, it's a constant visual that you cannot see past that is inviting you and telling you that something isn't right inside. And when you heal the gut most remarkable healing happens, but not just for the skin. Just like everything that Gayathri was saying is, you know, my son was also two and a half when we learned how to heal his body. And he decided to potty train himself. He decided to lean himself from breastfeeding. He like had all these massive developmental leaps and he was so calm and so content in his body. And it I say it all the time, but it's literally like we got to meet our son for the first time. And so there's so many things, just like you were told in pregnancy, Karen, this is normal. This is just part of pregnancy. It's total bullshit that we are given the complete runaround. When we intuitively know something is not right with our bodies or with our children, that is our inner wisdom, like inviting us to go deeper and to heal the body. so all any parts that you intuitively are like, can I know my first time mom, this doesn't feel right. It doesn't seem right It doesn't make sense that he's so uncomfortable and that like you can, know that discomfort, you can see it in their eyes and When it doesn't feel right, it's not right. And when you go to the root of the problem and you heal the body, the most amazing, it's just such an incredible transformation.

Karen (29:23)

so just a little background on me. I am a nurse so my education is on Western medicine. But with that being said, I would be very naive if I said that Western medicine is like the end all be all and that everything that happens in a hospital and every suggestion of a doctor is absolutely what should happen because I've done that. I've been in that scenario where I'm at the pediatrician constantly and our pediatrician said, you know, he looked at me and he was like, you know, I know that he keeps flaring, but I don't know if you know this, but eczema is a chronic illness. And I was like, that's a little frustrating because I am a nurse. So I do know that it's chronic, but it shouldn't be this frequent destabilitating for a baby like something else is wrong. So in that scenario, felt like he, you know, I'm sure this happens to moms all the time where you feel like your cries for help are being brushed off and like kind of dismissed because you know, you go to school and you're like, okay, eczema is a problem with the skin. the problem with Western medicine and how we're supposed to heal eczema and what is taught and what is prescribed is basically a band-aid to a problem that is going to keep coming back because there's a bigger issue, there's a bigger problem, which is something I recognize as soon as his symptoms came up because it was just so severe and it kept happening and you know they say detergents and soaps and you know the weather. I live in Chicago so it's winter right now and it's really cold and dry and like I've done all the things. I've done the humidifier. I've done all of the ointments and creams like if you could see his nursery. He has a basket full of every single cream there is out there that has been digested and nothing is helping because once again creams and ointments are just a bandaid pretty much. They probably work a little bit, but it's not solving the problem because there's something deeper that's happening. And it's kind of disappointing that this is not something that is widely known about and taught. And it's so disappointing because...

Eczema and food allergies and gut imbalances are so common. There's like so many people that have it and it's kind of just like people just shrug it off and they're like, well, it's a food allergy. You're gonna have that for the rest of your life or it's eczema, it runs in your family. You're gonna, that's something that's, you know, you're just gonna have to deal with. So to find something like onle organics, that has helped for so many people I think is so amazing and it could be so amazing for him and by no means am I a skeptic. I am definitely not. I am definitely open to anything and everything that could possibly heal him whether it's you know natural or something that is recommended like a medicine. I'm open to everything because I know that sometimes it takes a combination of things and just because my education is in medicine and you it doesn't mean that that is the end all be all and doesn't mean that everything that is recommended by a doctor is you know is the best because it hasn't been.

Juniper (33:31)

Well, and I completely understand even if there is a bit of skepticism because for me, I had tried everything. I had literally taken my son to every kind of doctor, every lactation consultant, pediatrician, our uveic doctor, you know.

Several different pediatricians. I tried everything and nobody had an answer. And so when we finally met a naturopath who was like, you know, first of all, he was the first one who validated what I'd always known. He said, you're right. All of his symptoms are connected. The colic that he has an infant, his reflux, his allergies, his skin, his mucus filled poops, his, all of this is connected. His, you know, as your child gets older and has a gut imbalance, you will see massive behavioral outburst and like it's almost like this defiance you can it's so hard to explain but you can just see that you're like you can see this anger in their eyes and they'll just do things that is absolutely on purpose but not like they can't manage it and As soon as my son healed that completely went away. he has not had a behavioral episode like that since and Okay, where was I going with this? he this naturopath validated. Yeah, all of this is connected and this is how you can heal you have to heal his gut and I remember sitting there thinking like, you've got to be joking me. It cannot be that simple. we have struggled so badly. How can it be that simple? coming from a place where I had tried everything, I had done everything. I was doing everything that I knew I possibly could that was right for him. And... here we were. And so for anybody listening who is skeptical, I absolutely get that. I, and especially, you know, coming from a Western medicine educational background, it's okay to be skeptical and also recognize, you know, I've tried that route and it hasn't worked in the answers that I've been given don't really align with what I know inside of me. And so I'm going to try this.

And Karen, you to be dismissed with, know, eczema is a really, it's a chronic condition. Yeah, it's chronic if we're not looking to heal the root of the problem. You know, children who, we actually heal the gut,

Eczema doesn't come back. healing can take time and throughout your healing process it might flare at different times as the imbalance is leaving the body. But once your child's gut is in balance, Eczema doesn't come back once your gut is healed, of course you have to continue focusing on it because our gut bacteria fluctuates all the time. But if you are nurturing a balanced gut, it's not chronic. It doesn't come back unless if there's an imbalance again, which is possible. And that's okay because now you have the awareness and the tools of how to heal.

I really want you to leave here. I did not bring you on here, honestly, to sell you the Rebalance Kids. I wanted to bring you on here to fill your heart with hope and the knowing that your son can heal because this place that you're in is, it can be really lonely and really hard. And I don't know what your community around you is like, but for me, I didn't, I mean, I just had pressure of like, why are you making him suffer? Why aren't you? using those steroid creams and it can be really lonely and it takes a lot of strength to trust ourselves and to fully commit to a healing path that aligns with what we know is right. And so your takeaway from this is

Maybe it has nothing to do with only organics and that's absolutely okay. But my hope for you is that you can find peace inside of you that your son can heal.

Karen (38:02)

Yeah, I I hope so too and I never thought that this was to sell me at all because I know that when I reached out, it was almost like a cry for help. This story sounds so similar to mine and I'm hoping for something that could work for him. I think it's not skepticism, I think it's just a fear of what if this doesn't work? What if it fails? I've tried so many things and- Some things have worked better than others, at the end of the day, has he really healed? And the answer is no. So I think it's more of a fear of failing and realizing that this has helped so many people and it's not going to help him. I'm hoping that I can, you know, heal him. Like I hope that my story is going to end the way both of yours did and I sympathize with both of you because both of your kids were two and a half and I feel like I'm in the thick of it right now and I feel like I don't see the light at end of the tunnel and my son is six months. So I can't even imagine going through that for two and a half years and how it just totally breaks you down and makes you question yourself really like as a mother, as a parent, as a nurse even. like, do I even know anything anymore? Like nothing is working. Everything that we're trying isn't working. And I think that seeing your child suffer like hurts a part of you that has never hurt before, like that hurt never existed until you have children. And as a first time mom, that's very hard to deal with and you're right, it is lonely. So with that being said, I'm grateful for you setting this up because it was a little bit of a therapy session for me to be honest. And it's something that I hope there will be light at end of the tunnel and I hope that I can heal him. And I can see my happy baby continue to be a happy baby because he at right now he is a happy baby like if we just took away the rashes and the issues of sleeping and You know everything like his itching and all that and He used to be a gassy baby, which has improved like if we take all that away. He is a happy baby, and he's thriving He is in the first percentile in body weight. That's something I forgot to add at the beginning. But that just solidifies me, like knowing that something is wrong, that his gut is not absorbing nutrients the way that it should be. So I know that something is wrong. So I just want to thank you both because you didn't have to do this, Juniper. You took a lot of time out, especially because I had to cancel the first time. He was, that night, he was up.

Every hour I want to say and was a very unhappy baby because he had a really bad flare that time But thank you both of you for making this happen because you were both open to helping me pretty much a nobody I so I'm very appreciative that you took the time out to set this up And it's very inspiring to hear both both stories

Juniper (41:42)

Well, I'm so grateful for you being here and for reaching out because you are not a nobody. And every single mama who messages me on Instagram, have just, I did a whole newsletter on this and I just put it in my stories that, you know, this, the growth of only and the reach that I've been able to have on Instagram really just speaks to the need and the number of families unnecessarily struggling and and so you matter and I'm so grateful that we've been able to have this conversation and before we wrap up I just want to acknowledge something that you said that you're not really skeptical of this healing method not working you're scared if it doesn't work for you or for your son and that's such a different way to frame to frame it. And I think that that probably speaks true to so many mamas who are maybe on the fence because you know, it's like this with everything in our life. If we don't try something, we have that control. We get to say, I chose not to do that. But if we put our hearts into something and we surrender and we trust, there is that fear that it might not work. And if that's the case, that's out of my control. And that can feel really scary and really vulnerable. And so I just want to acknowledge you having that clarity because, you know, I'm going to share an example and it's, it's unrelated, but so much the same at the same time. My husband and I are individually, like simultaneously, we're starting to work with a coach to help both of us expand into the next best version of ourselves. And we went to this meeting because he set it up for me. He's like, your business is growing so much. I want you to have the confidence to lead this. Let's go talk to this coach. And I was like, okay, okay. And we're sitting there. And what she was saying, you know, she's, she's  saying, we have to break through our fears so that we can heal without resistance. And I looked at my husband and I was like, are you feeling like you need this too? and he's like, God damn it. knew you were going to say that. I knew that you were going to do this, that you were going to say that I need this too. And he wasn't ready. And the conversations that we've had since is, you know, he's saying this coaching is going to be so amazing for you.

Karen (44:28)

Hehehe.

Juniper (44:43)

but I'm scared to do it for myself because what if it doesn't work for me? What if I put myself out there and it doesn't work for me?

What we have both come to is this saying fear of not doing something is holding us back from possibilities. And so any mama listening, just want you to hear that one more time is if we are scared to try because we're scared to fail, we are not giving ourselves the possibility to or to show up as our next best self. there is not a single family, a single child that has followed this method completely from the supplements, the food recommendations to, you know, preparing the body and taking up some salt baths. And with the kit, get free access to my course where I guide you through all of the stages of healing of how to prepare the body, what to expect, what happens if symptoms get worse before they get better, what foods to avoid, what foods to eat in a bunch.

So that you can succeed. There is not a single person who has followed all of this to a T and not healed. And then there are the mamas thinking, well, what if I mess up? What if I eat gluten?

What happens? It's okay, because we are not here to be perfect. We are here to heal and perfectionism doesn't equal health. It's this beautiful balance of learning what we need to know, having this awareness and working through the process in our own way so that we can get to the other side. And when you get to the other side, you are a different person. Gayathri really spoke to this, like the transformations that you've experienced in yourself over the last six months is so beautiful and I know that so well and it's so hard to put it into words. But me being here doing this is because I healed my gut, even though I never even knew I needed to heal my gut. I just saw the incredible transformation it gave my son and I wanted to see what it could possibly do for me. And it woke me up. It made inspirations come alive. It gave me this unwavering ability to show up in a really big way and make an impact for other families. And so that's the whole other side of healing our children is we actually, in so many ways, we heal ourselves. And not only does that help us be better mothers, but it helps us be better partners to our spouses and better women. We get to have better relationships with ourselves. And the confidence that we gain from healing our children is something I you I can't even put it into words and I know that this is possible for you and so I know that this is scary where you are and it's scary to put your trust into yourself and into the belief that healing is possible because you've tried everything and that disappointment hurts so deep when it doesn't work but you can do this.

Karen (48:37)

Thank you. That was really inspiring. And it's like nice to hear the response of it because I feel like I am for sure not the only person that has been on your Instagram page and on your website and reading all these articles and listening to the podcast. I know I'm not the only one that's wondering like, this work for me? And then having that fear and having that fear stop you from taking that leap and taking that chance. So my hope is that when people hear this, that will be like their answered prayer. And I hope that if it, you know, let's say for whatever reason, if it doesn't help me, I just hope that it helps other people because no one should go through this. Like it's, it's so hard and it's like I said, it's like, it's a pain that is deeper than anything I've ever felt before, before having kids. So.

Juniper (49:40)

Well, it's so deep because we internalize it. We feel like, my gosh, this is my fault. I have done something wrong. And this is not your fault. This is a cultural problem. This is a cultural issue.

Karen (49:47)

Yeah, totally.

Juniper (49:59)

and you get to change this for your family and you having this experience with your son. If you have future pregnancies, you addressing this and facing this now changes this just like for Guy Rethy. She gets to pass balance onto her baby girl and this happened with my third. I rebalanced my gut when I was pregnant with him because that's when we learned how to heal our second child and my third, gosh, I have never met such a solid kid in my life. from, like he will not catch the cold that comes through our house. He, his mood is steady. He has always slept. He is like the most solid child I have ever met. And this is what's possible. And so, I want to leave this by encouraging you. I wish that I had this podcast, the number written down, but it's called, you will never fully heal if you don't do this. I'm going to link it in the show notes for anybody listening and I can send it to you, Karen. But it's a really deep invitation to surrender, to believe that healing is possible because that is the first step. And when we go into this healing process, If we are in a place of surrender to fully trust and accept that the healing is happening, it's all right. The second you decide, the older the gap you don't fit, when you decide this is going to work, you are supercharging the healing process and your belief system is a huge part of his healing.

And so I'm going to send you that episode to really invite your whole heart to come to this place of affirmation of this is going to work and there's no questions anymore. And I'm going to hold on to this knowing because this is it.

Karen (52:15)

I would love to listen to it, thank you.

Juniper (52:19)

Gayathri, is there anything else that you want to add before we go?

Gayathri Prakash (52:25)

I just want to add one thing, maybe a hope for Karen. From my experience, whenever I had my child on my chest and you know, was trying to soothe him, there is only one thought I had on my mind. If I had the power to reverse the situation, I would do anything in the world to change it. So if I have the trust, if I have the power, I would change anything in the world to do to make him feel better. But now it's with us. So I think Karen, six months ago, may, I, when I got to know this, that this is also an option. What worse could happen if I fail? It's fine. I have failed many times. It's okay. This is another option that I will try, but it's fine if I fail, but I at least will try once to know whether I will succeed or fail. So that decision has led me to succeed now.

And I think moms, we as moms have the power to change anything for a child. So trust yourself and you have brought your child into this beautiful world. Your body has produced a child. So that is the immense power you have in you. So I'm sure this is just nothing literally compared to the birthing that you went through. So I'm sure this thing, what Juniper already mentioned about trusting the process and you know, trusting that the healing will work.

Karen (53:51)

Thanks

Gayathri Prakash (53:54)

you cannot fail, you know, because there is something that has to happen in life to turn this thing upside down. Maybe that something is this. So try it out. Explore yourself. And I'm sure I will perhaps listen to you again in a few months. We all will be on the other side, you know, sharing our happy experiences with other moms and we motivate each other. So I really hope and pray that you get to, you know go through this phase very strongly and positively and change your son's life completely.

Juniper (54:33)

Thank you.

Karen (54:33)

Thank you, that's really sweet and that's very inspiring.

Juniper (54:38)

Karen, I am absolutely amazed. You're a... He didn't like that?

Karen (54:42)

I know, I'm surprised. I know, cause his first nap was an hour, like less than an hour, and then his second was 30 minutes and he stirred a little bit, but he's actually doing okay with his snaps. So, surprised too.

Juniper (54:44)

You guys are so kind.

This is meant to be. Thank you guys so much for taking the time and I'm grateful for you.

Karen (55:04)

Thank you. I'm thankful that you made this happen because you really didn't have to.

Gayathri Prakash (55:06)

Thank you very much Juniper for giving this opportunity and I wish you a good luck and I'm ready to order my next set of Onlé.

Karen (55:16)

Yeah.

Juniper (55:20)

You can try the new bind and re-mineralize and the body oil glow. All three of those are amazing. And when you get your kit, get the ultimate one because it is going to help pull the toxins from his body with the bind and your healing will be even more efficient than the original kit that Gaia 3 was able to experience.

Karen (55:27)

you

Gayathri Prakash (55:47)

Okay.

Juniper (55:51)

Okay, bye you guys.

Karen (55:53)

Thank you. Bye.

Gayathri Prakash (55:54)

Bye.
