Two hundred episodes ago I started this podcast because when I was in the thick of healing my son, I was so alone, I was scared, and I would have given anything to be able to push play and listen to someone who had gone through it, someone who could validate how hard it is behind closed doors. The hard that no one understands unless if they've been through it, who knows the depths of what it takes from you as a mother to not only walk beside your child who's living in survival mode, but to hold your family together through the process, to just have somebody, just have an episode, just have something to listen to that could inspire me on my hardest of days, who could encourage me when I was losing hope.

That's what the Follow Your Gut podcast is here for. We are two hundred episodes in and I was reflecting on the conversation I wanted to bring you exactly this because I needed someone to believe me when I knew with every part of my being that my son's eczema and allergies and sour-smelling poop and his behavioral outburst and his speech delays and his sensory sensitivities, the black circles under his eyes, all of it was connected. I didn't have the language for it then, but I needed to someone. I needed someone, To believe me.

After making it through our journey and now in supporting tens of thousands of families, I believe you. I believe in you. And I'm here in every single one of these episodes to hold hope for you. I know that your hope will waver. I know you will have hard days and you will have more hopeful days I'm here to hold consistent hope for you. I'm here to remind you that your body, even if you yourself, you have experienced symptoms for most of your life. If your child has been struggling for a really long time, your body was designed to thrive.

There is not a single part of you, there's not a single part of your child that is a mistake. There's not a single part of what you are experiencing, of what you are going through, that isn't by design, that isn't meant to be part of your journey. It can feel so heavy hearing that when you are in the thick of it, but it can also be so empowering to remember and to surrender.

You know, this applies to every part of our life. When you just release and you remember, okay, I don't fully understand why, but I'm exactly where I'm meant to be. I remember having this out of body experience of remembering exactly that last winter. My son and I were going snowboarding. We were going really slow. We were coming round a corner and we hit black ice. I mean, I was going eight miles an hour and the car just the back tires just kept sliding and they went off the bank and we rolled. One of the scariest experiences of my life, but it was like this slow motion. We're hanging upside down in the car waiting for help. And something had hit my head. It was so loud. The car's beeping. There's you know, we have a Toyota and the Toyota carrot speaking over the speakers, asking if we need help. And there's so much happening, But I had this out-of-body experience of like, wow, okay. We're meant to be right here, right now. This potentially saved us from something I will never see, I will never understand why we are here right now.

But this is for us. I share this story and this experience because when you are navigating something really hard, it lifts so much pressure off of you. When you remember you're exactly where you're meant to be. This is meant to be part of your journey. You are becoming who you are meant to be through this process, and you would never be her. Your child would never be who they were meant to be without going through this.

I can't begin to list the ways, all of the ways that my life personally, all of the ways that my son's life, all the way that my family as a whole, that our life was completely transformed because we went on this journey. It closed doors that were never meant to be open. It opened ones that would have never opened had we not gone on this journey. Had we not experienced this, I wouldn't be here, having the honor and the gift of sharing this healing with families around the world.

We wouldn't live where we live. We wouldn't have experienced the world, how we've experienced the world. We wouldn't have our knowledge on food that we have. Our entire day-to-day, our entire lifestyle would be completely different. And we are so much stronger and so much happier and more resilient because we have gone through this.

It's the same for you.

And if your hope has been crushed from being gaslit and dismissed and passed from specialist to specialist and no one is actually seeing you or spending the time to really see your child the way that you see them.

I will hold hope for you.

And I know you will find it within yourself. Because I know something now that I desperately needed someone else to know then, when I was in the thick of it. Your body is not betraying you. Your child's body is not betraying them. The body is always communicating.

Our culture tends to normalize things that are common. But common and normal are not the same thing. And I encourage you to not settle in normalizing what you know is not right. Maybe your neighbor's child has it, maybe your cousin's child, maybe maybe you see it all around, whatever your child, maybe it's allergies. Allergies are on the rise. More and more children are experiencing allergies. If your child has allergies and you know it doesn't make sense, or maybe you are in your 30s or your 40s and you have suddenly developed new allergies. And the doctors are telling you, yeah, this can just happen as you age. Every part of your body knows there is no way my body di a switch didn't just flip and I'm suddenly just allergic to things. No. Symptoms, no matter how big or how small or how common are symptoms and symptoms are communication. It's the body responding. And when you understand what's happening beneath the symptoms you are empowered to actually heal the body. That's the work that we do here.

So for this 200th episode, I don't want to give you a list of 200 things I've learned or revisit the most downloaded episodes or give you a collection of tips. I want to tell you what I know. What I know with so much conviction after healing my son, raising my children, building ōNLē and listening to thousands of women tell me what's happening in their bodies and their child's bodies and in recording these 200 episodes, I know.

Women and mothers recognize patterns oftentimes well before there's any medical explanation. You know your body, you know your child, you know when something has changed and when something isn't right. You know when the answer you've been given doesn't explain everything that you're seeing. You might not know exactly how the pieces connect yet, but you know. They do.

I know that we have all been conditioned to fear healing.

Some of the most frequently asked questions I get. Is this safe in this situation or in this situation? During pregnancy, while breastfeeding, during this situation, my child has strep throat. Is it safe for me to continue rebalancing?

Safety is, of course, our greatest concern as mothers. Our number one job is to keep our children safe. And what's interesting with this healing and in talking with so many women is that the real question is being looked over. The real question is, is it safe for the body to remain imbalanced and symptoms to continue to worsen?

But the question that I'm asked is, is it safe to rebalance? The question we all need to be asking, is it safe to leave this tremendous amount of overgrowth, the bad bacteria, yeast, mold, fungus, and parasites. Is it safe to leave the heavy metals and the toxins in the body that are wreaking havoc and causing the symptoms? Is it safe to leave the microbiome compromised?

Which then, you know, seventy to eighty percent of the immune system cells reside in the gut. So when the microbiome is compromised, 70 to 80 percent of the immune system is incredibly compromised. Is that safe?

I know the supplements in the rebalance kit are safe. I would not have touched them if they weren't. I would not have fully committed and healed my son with these supplements if I had any resistance or any doubt in the safety of the supplements. And I certainly would not be here sharing these supplements with you if they were not safe.

This is why I created only. Because my standard of expectation is so incredibly high. And when healing my son, It was really, really hard to find and source supplements that met my expectation, that met my standards. Once we finally adopted this as our own microbiome lifestyle for our whole family, when I went all in and partnered with doctors and scientists and manufacturers to create the absolute best of the best.

So it's not a question of the safety of the supplements. It's what's currently in the body. That's the conversation we need to have. I know with so much certainty that the risks associated with leaving the overgrowths and the toxins and the heavy metals in the body are significant.

That's why they lead to symptoms.

I know with equal certainty that clearing those overgrowths and toxins and heavy metals is the path to healing.

Now, I don't want anyone going into this blindly. This is why I have poured my heart and soul into the ōNLē Method course that you get free access to with every rebalance kit. Because it's important that you spend time preparing your body. And if you experience the release phase in extreme forms, this means your body needs more time preparing. This means that your drainage pathways aren't open and your body is not able to flush out what the supplements are helping clear.

This is why the rebalance kits include all four supplements because we need to not only clear the dying overgrowths and the toxins. We are healing the foundation of the body, so the gut, the gut is the foundation of the body. Every system in the body is directly connected to and influenced by the gut. So when we are healing the foundation of the body, we have to very intentionally and very gently not only clear the bad overgrowths, but bind them as they are dying, bind the toxins that are released as they die. We need to replenish and restore the microbiome and the essential minerals. This is why the rebalance kits are designed exactly as they are. This is why this healing is so effective and why it's changing women and children's lives who have lived in survival mode for so long.

And as I say in so many of these episodes, healing is so much more than just the disappearance of symptoms. Yes, that's why you're here. Yes, that is your biggest goal in rebalancing, is to be symptom free, is for you yourself or for your child to move from living in survival mode to thriving.

But thriving encompasses so much more than the disappearance of symptoms. It's feeling regulated in your body. It's feeling hopeful. It's knowing what foods. I was just having a conversation with someone on the ōNLē team who is rebalancing herself for the first time. And she's like, Juni, I cannot eat red meat anymore. Is there something wrong with red meat? And it's not that there's something necessarily wrong with red meat for everyone. It's that her body has never liked red meat. Her gut brain connection is just now clear enough that she can hear how her body is receiving that red meat and it doesn't taste good to her anymore.

She then went on to tell me about all of these studies that have been done about red meat and African Americans and how red meat is not healthy for African Americans, but her whole life she has eaten it and it seemed fine and now she's rebalancing and it's very like she she's repulsed by it. She can't eat it. She doesn't like it. It tastes like metal.

So you will experience your own version of this. It's not about any one food being good or bad universally. It's what's good for your body, what's good for your child's body. And it's not even an effort to change. It just naturally is. Oh my gosh, I need so much of this particular food. Or my gosh, I used to eat this all the time and I don't like it. I don't like how it makes me feel. I don't like how it tastes. Food is just one part of it. Your brain clarity, your function, your capacity, your sleep. It touches every level of yourself, which leads me to the next thing that I know that circles back to the beginning of this conversation. I know that you will become someone different in this process. You will become a different version of you, whether you are here healing yourself or your child.

And a lot of times your subconscious is going to get really sneaky and try to sabotage you. Not because it has bad intentions, but because your subconscious, its job is to keep you safe. And it relates safe to familiar. Even if your familiar has been living in survival mode and not thriving, it sees thriving, as a threat to your safety.

It's really important for you to be aware of this as you move through the process. Whether you're healing yourself or your child, your subconscious is going to try to sabotage you. This will look like repeating patterns that you've cycled through over and over and over again. Maybe you're seeing tremendous progress. And you're like, you know what? It's good. We're like 80% there. We're going out of town this weekend. I'm just not gonna pack the supplements. It's fine. We're doing great. So it's becoming unintentionally inconsistent with maybe the supplements or with the food side of rebalancing. Or maybe it's Hyper fixating. So suddenly, like everything's been feeling really great, and then and you've been feeling really grounded in the process and regulated, and you're seeing improvements, and you've been documenting, and then suddenly your brain hyper-fixates on one thing that if you zoom out, this one thing is so small compared to where things were before you started rebalancing.

But your brain starts to hyper-fixate and and this is not to say that you shouldn't check in, that you shouldn't be in tune with the body, but you know the difference between being like, hmm, I'm curious about this, and becoming absolutely obsessive. That obsessive nature is what happens before that became a pattern that you lived in. I lived in it for two and a half years. I was stuck in that obsessive Looping.

You know the difference between being curious and paying attention and becoming absolutely obsessive, where you're staying up late, you're not sleeping, you are circling it over and over and over in your mind. You're trying to think, how could I have done this differently? How could I have changed this outcome? That is your subconscious repeating old patterns that kept you in that familiar state.

You are going to have to be very aware and take time to regulate yourself and move forward knowing what you know now. Walks are not a luxury. Going on a walk by yourself and allowing your mind space to process is a very important part of healing and becoming the version of you that this experience is inviting you to be.

Another thing I know is when you fully commit to the process, not just the outcome, but to the process itself, you will be absolutely amazed at how beautiful and abundant your life becomes. I know you can heal. I know your child can heal.

You have to leave the question out of that. It's not a can I heal will I heal I hope I heal no it's a I know I am healing, I know my child is healing.

I was mountain biking with my kids this weekend. They're on our local mountain bike team. And I've never been on a team. I've never had biking instruction. I just really like being on my bike. So we're going down this trail and there's these really sharp curves. And my son and my daughter are just like zooming around these curves and I'm much slower than them. They stop at the bottom and they're like, Hey mom, have you ever learned the trick to getting through those these big turns. No. What's the trick? And they said, you have to look past the turn. You have to look beyond where you're going. Like if you're so fixated on the corner itself, then your whole energy is going into that corner and it's really hard to get around it. But if you look past or through the turn, then you just fly right through it.

And they're like, the same's true, like if there's a rock on the ground or a stick on the ground. If you're zoning in, if you're staring at the stick, you literally cannot get your bike past the stick. And so they had me try it. Sure enough, I hit the stick and they're like, okay, now look past the stick. Okay, I try it. And I just go like straight around the stick without even trying to. The same is true for your healing. You have to look where you're going and claim it.

So it's not a I hope I make it around this corner. No, no, no. I'm looking past the corner. That's where I'm going. That's where you are going. That's where your child is going. It's not a I hope this works. It's a this work is working and I am healing. This is working and my child is healing. I know with everything in my being.

If you hold on to the knowing, it leaves zero space for any other outcome.

Okay, and the last knowing that I want to share with you, something that I know with so much certainty, is that you and you alone are the most powerful leader of your own health, of your family's health. I'm gonna say that again, and I want you to feel it in your body.

You are the most powerful leader of your health. You are the most powerful leader of your family's health.

When something doesn't feel right, listen. When an answer doesn't feel full, listen. Get curious. Stay true to your intuition. Your intuition will never fail you.

If you are in the middle of your rebalance, keep going. This isn't a hopeful journey. This is a I am going there journey. If you have never rebalanced before, if this is your first episode that you're ever listening to, or maybe you've listened to all 200 and you're still being called to finally start, this is your invitation to go for it.

I love you. I am so grateful to be here with you, to be sharing this healing, to be changing our standard of expectation of what the word healing actually means, to be leading this movement where women and mothers are the leaders of our own health. This is health independence, health freedom.

And I am so proud of you for being part of it for taking matters into your own hands and not allowing a system that is treatment focused to dictate the outcome that you and your family get to experience.

You are so brave, you are so strong, you are so powerful. Do not let anyone let you question those qualities within you.
